Sandy Park is a sports stadium located in Exeter, Devon and it is the home ground of Rugby Union club Exeter Chiefs. September 2015 sees the stadium host three games of the prestigious Rugby World Cup. These are Tonga v Namibia, Namibia v Georgia, and Italy v Romania.
The stadium holds 12,500 seated spectators, but this is set to change as the Sandy Park embarks on a major redevelopment of its stands. The five year development will see the capacity increased to over 20,000.
In the North Terrace, you will find seat blocks A, B, C and D. In a clockwise direction, you will then come to East Terrace North and East Terrace South. At the south end of the stadium, we have the SW Comms Stand, which is split into seat blocks West, Central and East. Finally in the West Grandstand, there are eight seat blocks. At the back you will find North Upper, Central Upper and South Upper. In front of those we have North Lower, Central Lower and South Lower. These six blocks are flanked by the North West Terrace and South West Terrace.
